Registration for 2013-14:

Registration for the 2013-14 school year will begin in July. To register your child, simply stop by the school anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Be sure to bring two current utility bills (electric, water, gas, land phone) from the months of June or July to the school office. (Please remember that all returning students in the Madison County School District must show proof of residency each year by providing two current utility bills.) For kindergarten or new student registration, parents must also present:

• a certified birth certificate

• a social security card (no copies)

• a certificate of health compliance (immunization form) issued by the Mississippi Department of Health or a local physician

Titan Tone Up and Titan Trot a Big Success:

At the beginning of January, Ann Smith and Highland Elementary teamed up to promote physical fitness to our students with a six-week fitness program called Titan Tone Up. The program encouraged all students to achieve 60 minutes of physical activity a day, as recommended by the American Heart Association (AHA). The program was a great success, and the program culminated with Titan Trot, a 5K run/walk and 1-mile fun run.
